A bit of French street style...

I while back I wrote a post about the first book that Isabelle Thomas and Frédérique Veysset wrote called Paris Street Style and how I loved it. Looking back, it really showed the duo really got French fashion.... whist remaining modern and opinionated about style, You can read the post here

Though the duo are back with a new book which explores the significance of the shoe and its place as a fashion icon and its French origins.

Along with the help of photography that will have you salivating to own every pair of shoes featured, the authors provided their stylish expert advice on the selection and upkeep of footwear as well as perfect outfit pairings. It really shows off what the modern Parisian woman is wearing, not just the women in French Vogue or dolled up for Paris Fashion Week. But what she is wearing just everyday out and about in one of the fashion capitals of the world.

Though my favourite part is reading all the Q&A commentary sections with some of the shoe greats such as Ines de la Fressange, Christian Louboutin as well as collectors and models such as Dita Von Tesse.

I also bought these really beautiful little notebooks by the same duo... also saw a journal though might have to get that on my next book shop visit
