Relaxing in Tunisia...

You may have seen from my twitter feed that I am currently enjoying a week in Tunisia with the boy. It was a little last minute and all we wanted was a a bit of sun and relaxation after a few busy months at work.

Before coming here I had many people ( mainly women) telling me that I wouldn't enjoy it as a country. Simply due to the fact as a Brit and a fair-skin blonde I would be asking for harassment from locals (though I'm sure the boy thinks he can get at least 2 camels for me). This said I still came with an open mind and the view of experiencing the country with a fresh perspective.

Indeed you may get locals being a bit to 'approaching' and nothing in Tunisia is 'free', and they will try to make you buy everything they are selling. However in the complex we are in the hotel staff are really nice and we are making the most of the private beach, cocktails and the 30degree heat.

The below outfit was my outfit for today and I was inspired by the beautiful colours of some of the outfits I had seen on some of the local women and decided that my yellow Topshop dress. The shoes are my latest purchase from Carvela at Kurt Geiger, although they are a bit pricier than my usual sandals I go for. However with the price tag come a very comfy and good quality pair of sandals.

You guys will know i am a big fan of statement jewellery and the tribal necklace I am wearing is my latest purchase from Zara and is beautifully made with woven threads and fabrics teamed with silver feathers.
