Mustard top and turquoise gem necklace...

I love clashing colours and trying new combos - taking that bit of risk! Today's outfit I was a bit apprehensive about the mustard top and the blue necklace though it was pulled together to be suitable for work (have a big agency meeting) and also be fun for drinks in the evening with the girls.

The necklace was bought at the weekend from Zara and was suppose to be stashed away for my holidays - though I felt that it was a great statement piece (plus was a bargain at just £19.99). The light fabric harem trousers are the lightest fabric I have ever worn and are really comfy for long hours of sitting in meetings. They were an impulse buy aafter my last pair fell apart after 3 summer seasons as my go-to trouser when the weather got to warm for jeans. They are from River Island as well as the blazer and heels - with the mustard coloured top from Topshop and was just £6.

The bag you have seen before as this is a vintage crocodile clutch that I have had for a few years and goes with so many items - It reminds me very much of the Hermes clutch Olivia Palermo often carries at events. A nice comfy outfit that will go with a bit of red lippy later when I head out for a glass of red.
