Tip: keeping whites white...

I thought I would share what I got up to this Saturday as it a must for the summer...

I love wearing white during the summer, whether it is my skinny white jeans or my lace blouse. However, it’s a known fact that while wearing white, you will inevitably spill something on yourself or you get those the less than attractive yellow stains left behind by perspiration and deodorant. Thus making your once loved items pushed to the back of your drawers, or thrown out as a result.
Though this weekend (thanks to my mum)I learnt that if you sprinkle some baby powder on the underarms and collar of a shirt or blouse, then iron, this forms a barricade against the grime and oil responsible for the yellow discolouration. Result! my new Whistles top is saved!
Though in terms of a cure for spills and stains, aside from wearing plastic protective gear, or any food that isn't white you might as well accept that this is just karma.
