Lace in Covent Garden...

In Covent Garden I met the lovely Wu-Lim who stopped to be photographed for The Stylista and the Frog. She went for a military fitted jacket, knee length boots, vintage lace blouse topped of with a broach (very period style).I felt that this is the look that Alexa Chung or Kate Bosworth would look cute in this look?

Thinking pink..

Wearing pink as a key component of an outfit can really give an outfit a lift. My inspiration today (and to rock my Zara pink blazer even though it was bloody cold) came from the ladies below.

I am someone that loves to mix up colour pallets and fabrics and I think the girls below are similar.

High heels: putting my best foot forward...

High heels are often the item in stacked up in your wardrobe that you never can have to many of. Women (and some men) have a tendency to feel the need to have more than four pairs of black shoes that all look the same. Our justification... 'I need them'

Recently I have been checking out peoples footwear on the street, not in a weird way but as an observer of current shoe trends. Yes the brogues are back and shoes that resemble Hugh Hefner's slippers are seen as a cool thing right now.

Though I am definitely a girl that loves to rock a pair of high heels. The likes of Cameron Diaz, Olivia Palermo and Victoria Beckham have graced magazines this year with an impressive array of footwear. Ranging from the very expensive Christian Louboutin to high street options like Topshop and Zara.

My inspiration over the last few weeks (and of course attending London Fashion Week) was that variety is the spice of life aim to go for a selection of heels, a classic court, those suede purple platforms, the dominatrix gladiator heels and those gold sparkly ones that you just love.. every outfit can be styled up with a pair of heels.
