Star Style: Emma Watson...

She started out as a bushy-haired youngster who was thrusted into the limelight when the Harry Potter took off. Now 10 years on this British girl is a global style icon, fronting campaigns for the likes of Burberry and appearing on the front of Vogue, Harpers Bazzar and Elle. Emma Watson has stepped it up in the last 5years in the fashion stakes and when the Harry Potter premier for the final instalment Deathly Hallows Part 2 took place last week Emma showed the world just how classy she can look in a winning dress by Oscar de la Renta.
Whether it has been her presence on the front rows of fashion week or chopping off all her hair into a short pixie crop, she has always been present in the fashion and gossip pages. Gone are the childish ( or hand me down clothes), and in with the modelling contract, the countless magazine covers and her very own Eco fashion line with fair-trade label People Tree.
Looking back over her outfit choices over the last 3 years there are many outfits I have liked of hers. Though there are two that stand out for me (both just happen to be at Harry Potter premiers). The first was when Emma arrived at London’s Leicester Square swathed in vintage Ossie Clarke, she looked stunning and so elegant.
The second dress that I fell in love with was a revealing mini-dress by Spanish-born designer Rafael Lopez that she wore to the Deathly Hallows Part 2 premier. Made from sheer black lace and with a voluminous, feathered skirt. This dress is probably one of the most expensive dresses Emma has worn (retailing at around £4,000) but worth every penny.
Though Harry Potter has come to an end, fingers crossed that Emma continues to develop her style and pull out some beautiful outfit choices. I have a feeling she will be present on the front row of Burberry at LFW in September. What do you think of her style? Do you think it is her or just her stylist making the choices?
